Hall Tour

The new Vice President of Student Affairs, Ms. Carmen Vazquez has asked to view our residence halls. The date and time of the tour is still up in the air. However, the Residence Life Office is looking for a few volunteers to show off their room to the new VP.

"Carmen is very excited to see occupied rooms in order to view how our residents personalize their space."

I was hoping that one of our rooms in Stuart could volunteer to show off their rooms in the next few weeks. Please let me know if you are interested and I'll keep you in the loop.

Choral Scholars

If you enjoy singing, like performing, and appreciate working with other talented USD students, perhaps you will consider auditioning for the Choral Scholars. The Choral Scholars is a group of USD students who rehearse M - Th from 12:20 - 1:15 In addition to over $8,000 (Yes, that's eight thousand dollars) of tuition remission, selected individuals will also receive free voice lessons! As it turns out there are a few openings this semester in the Choral Scholars and you, yes YOU, might be the perfect person to fill the spot. If you're even remotely interested please contact Dr. Edwin L. Basilio (Director, Choral Scholars) at 260-4111 or by email ebasilio@sandiego.edu You need not have perfect musicianship skills or the best solo voice. Hoever, you will need a willingness to work with other members of the group and a desire to be a member of one of the finest choral organizations in the state. Please contact Dr. Basilio to set up an audition day and time.
